I recently spent a few weeks in south east asia just training, living and shooting. I managed to get a bunch of great shots which i will post on the blog and in my folio over time.
This first photo set follows thai fighter Robert Lek fighting at Bangla Stadium. Robert was called up literally a couple of days to fill in on this fight card so he hadn’t had the best preparation.
The differences in Muay Thai culture between Australia and Thailand are absolutely huge. Back home it is something quite extreme, but in Thailand it is simply a part of life. It was really refreshing to shoot something in a journalistic style. Peep it.
